Wellness Spa and Thermal Baths
The Wellness Spa and the Therapeutic Thermal Baths represent an ideal place to restore harmony and vitality to your body. Already known since Roman and Etruscan times for thier therapeutic properties, the boiling sulfurous water has been flowing out from the heart of the earth for thousands of years and fills the pools of the hotel. You will be soaking in thermal water baths, known as balneotherapy, and at the time surrounded by unequalled view over the pleasant landscape of the hills of Tuscan countryside.
Therapeutic properties of the Thermal Baths
The specific features of the water provide several therapeutic properties which have been known since the time of the Romans and stayed unchanged until nowadays. The waters are rich in calcium and in magnesium and help to soothe and hydrate the skin.
Thermal baths have been around for centuries. Research suggests they can have anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, and antioxidant effects that may be especially helpful for people with inflammatory conditions like arthritis.
Soaking in hot springs can be a great way to naturally detox your skin. Thanks to the high amount of silica in the water, it can also soften rough or dry skin. Plus, the mineral content of sulfur springs has been shown to help persisting skin conditions like psoriasis, acne and eczema.

Yoga with Michela
My path in yoga started more than 20 years ago when I was a student at Florida International University.
I graduated from the American University of Rome in 2000 and got my BA in International. Relations.
I opened my own yoga studio in 2008 in my hometown Grosseto in Tuscany where I taught for more than 20 years and during that time mentored several students who later became teachers, I earned my Master’s degree in Yoga Studies from the University of Venice, Italy with at dissertation entitled “Is lyengar Yoga a Therapy? Scientific evidence in the medical therapy field of the effects and benefits from the lyengar yoga practice”.
I am a Certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapist and a standing teacher member of Light On Yoga Italia, the lyengar Yoga Association of Italy and of lynaus, the lyengar Yoga National Association of United States.
During these years, Florida has always been my second home. In 2018 moved back again and made Hollywood my home residence.

My teaching style
My teaching style is accessible for all ages and all body types. teach Iyengar Yoga which is known internationally for its focus on precision and timing and the use of props.
It was developed by Mr. Iyengar with the aim to perform asana in harmony allowing a perfect integration of the body, mind, and emotions.
Iyengar Yoga is the most globally standardized system of yoga and Certified lyengar Yoga Teachers are a worldwide guarantee of excellence in teaching.
They are skilled in using simple props to maximize the opening and awareness of the body, providing support to the less flexible and extra extension to the more advanced student.
Iyengar is also a type of yoga ideal for stiff people, anyone suffering from injury, regardless of age or ability. Using physical alignment as a starting point, Iyengar yoga encourages the spread of intelligence throughout the body, the growth of self-awareness, and an experience of the asanas as a form of “meditation in action”.
