About me

My name is Michela Franci and I live and travel between the marvelous hilly Tuscany (Italy) and Florida. I invite you to join me into my yoga lifestyle.

I am very grateful to God for having blessed upon me the devotion for yoga in this life.

I am a life coaching guide with over 15 years experience in promoting yoga and a profound seeker of truth in very aspect of my life. Through the art of yoga I learned to implement body and mind healing and encourage self inner growth and a spiritual research.

I was born and raised in Italy and luckily enough to receive a cross cultural education with a Master degree in Yoga Studies from the University of Venice, Italy and a BA in International Relations from the American University of Rome.

I have been following the teachings in Europe, India and United States of several yoga masters and spiritual guides whom I am always very grateful to.

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapist and a standing member of Light On Yoga Italia, the Iyengar Yoga Association of Italy.

I am also the founder of Benefit Centro Yoga in Tuscany, Italy where I run state-of-the-art yoga and life coach retreats.

My Teaching Style

My teaching empowers the belief that every one is a special human being and that a yoga successful healing practice is a One To One approach, even within a group class.

My teaching is fun, insightful, and tailored aiming to generate new resources for mental and physical healing, to develop a mind changing approach to posture, holistic lifestyle and spiritual growth.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you will find my instructions fundamental to develop a safe and beneficial yoga practice.

My devotion to yoga blessed me with the enchanting gift to sort out the most suitable treatment to very many ailments and discomfort.

Iyengar® is a form of yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The development of strength, mobility and stability is gained through the asanas.

Teachers are held to a rigorous demanding training program lasting a minimum of 3 years and decades of continuous evaluations and assessments to advance to the highest levels, in addition to required regular studies and training in India.
